For over 30 years the Investor Relations Society has established itself as the champion of professional standards within the investor relations community and has raised awareness of investor relations among companies operating in the UK, continental Europe and beyond. In the current climate of corporate uncertainty, increasing financial regulation and global integration, the Investor Relations Society remains focused on this goal.

With almost 600 members from across the UK, Europe and beyond, the Investor Relations Society holds a key position within the industry. We support members in many different ways including:
Representation
The Society is the only UK professional body promoting the views of investor relations practitioners to the investment community, regulatory bodies and government.
Professional development
The education and training programmes include introductory, intermediate and senior courses intended to increase awareness of investor relations techniques and best practice.
Information and advice
Regular newsletters and journals keep members informed of hot topics. The Society's website acts as a platform for communication, and provides research and information on all aspects of the investor relations profession
Networking
The Investor Relations Society provides regular and unique opportunities for members to network and exchange views. These include lunchtime and evening sessions, the Annual Dinner and the Annual Conference addressed by leading figures from the City.
