International IR
Excellent investor relations are of fundamental importance to listed companies across the world. Despite the disparate cultural and political environments in which companies operate, the principles of IR are the same the world over. Public limited companies will always need to talk to their investors, which requires good investor relations.
Increasing harmonisation of international regulation and global markets is resulting in permeable borders; a company listed in one country will often find its share price influenced by events in another. Of course, this is even more so for companies with multiple listings.
If your company’s shares are listed in London you will need to understand the rules and regulations of the London market. Increasingly, companies based in other countries are looking to the UK as a model for good investor relations practice. We run courses and educational programmes and our Certificate in Investor Relations has been successfully adopted by overseas based institutions.
