The Financial Services Authority is likely to investigate at Lamprell following two persons discharging managerial responsibility (PDMRs) selling a combined £1.6m of shares two weeks prior to a profits warning. The FT's Lombard column reports "It is inconceivable that the Financial Services Authority will not investigate the queasily timed transactions". The column goes on to say that the existing anomaly of directors with access to market sensitive information being debarred from trading their company shares, while PDMRs are able to should be removed.
