For some time the Board has felt that the Society should do more to facilitate dialogue between issuers and the buyside. We have therefore decided to set up an IR Forum which would meet on ad hoc, but hopefully not too infrequent, basis to discuss capital market issues common to both sides of the investment equation. Through the good offices of Richard Davies we now have many of the largest UK funds signed up and we would therefore like to set up an inaugural meeting with IROs.
We envisage an informal breakfast meeting in the last week in January or early February. If you would be interested in attending or even hosting such a meeting please get in touch with Mike Mitchell at the Society
