New consultation on enhanced shareholder voting rights

Following our poll last month which revealed a growing role for IR in the executive pay process, BIS have launched a consultation on its proposals to give company shareholders greater influence over executive pay, through enhanced voting rights.

With executive pay an increasingly discussed part of overall corporate governance, the Society will be taking part in this consultation to make sure the IR perspective is understood by BIS.
