Head of Investor Relations - London/Switzerland

Pay: £Competitive + Excellent package

A Head of Investor Relations is sought to join a Swiss based firm specialising in providing services to financial services organisations. The Head of IR work with the Director of M&A to strengthen the company’s reputation with key individuals including investors, target investors, analysts and the financial media.

The role:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external contacts including investors, analysts, financial media and members of the Board
• Act as the principle contact for analysts and use knowledge and good judgement to give the appropriate information in response to queries
• Analyse consensus figures, financial models and other external information and contribute to production of any necessary responses
• Work alongside the marketing team to prepare all materials for quarterly results 
• Assist in the planning and organisation of roadshows, investor meetings and press conferences including preparation of materials such as presentations and handouts
• Work closely with senior figures including the CEO and CFO.

Skills and Competencies

• Experience gained within an international financial services organisation of financial communications agency is essential
• A good understanding of the financial software marketplace
• Skills gained working in a sales environment would be an advantage
• Strong analytical background gained through working in Finance
• Highly computer literate with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Strong team player with a proactive approach and the ability to take ownership of projects.
